The Battle For Free Passage is all about representing your Region world-wide and battling your way through the 3 Stages. The winner of each region, from the final Stage, earns free travel and 4 nights accommodation for the Portablist Lounge World Finals, held at BEATGEEK in London, UK. The ‘Regions’ are split up into 3 areas - Left Earth (Americas), Middle Earth (Europe/Middle East) & Right Earth (Asias).

The ‘Regions’ are split up into 3 areas - Left Earth (Americas), Middle Earth (Europe/Middle East) & Right Earth (Asias).
There are 3 Stages.- Stage 1 - Join The Fellowship
- Stage 2 - Kutters Mountain
- Stage 3 - The Last Stand
The top half of each ‘Region’ will progress to the next stage. Depending on the amount of entries and/or scores, the Judges will decide how many progress onto the next Stage.
Important. Read the Final Entry Agreement.If you have won BFFP before, then you are not able to enter again. The DJs that are unable to enter are

Budget pending, we might be able to introduce a Wildcard event during Stage 3 for all the previous Regional winners separately, where one winner may gain passage? If the Wildcard happens, then the DJs that would be able to enter are

RULES
Please Read Carefully.
Any portable turntable can be used.
There are no restrictions on the use of- Portable turntable
- Fader - no external mains powered mixers
- Vinyl - no DVS
There are no restrictions on the- Beat - any selection, must be 1 minute in duration and any bpm

FORMAT
Video Recording.
The following recording criteria is required.- Landscape video, not portrait
- No edits or camera angle changes allowed
- Vinyl and fader must be in the camera shot and not in the bottom third of the video
- 1 minute in duration, at any bpm tempo
- Ensure the video does not go over 1min10sec
- Allow for an intro and outro, incase the video needs edited for the Stage Livestream Playlist
- No logo’s or DJ names - these will be added
- Direct audio line in feed, no phone microphone for example
- Video's will be rejected if the above criteria is not met
Once submitted, your video will be added to the Stage Playlist. -
